Meeting
Called To Order
Meeting was called to order by Mr. Tim
Wood
Meeting.
They were approved.
Treasurer
Report
Angela Mullins reported the balance as
of today’s date. For Confidentiality
reasons,
The Amounts are not listed on
this website, but are available.
Advertising
Signs Report
Advertising signs will be sold at a
cost of $250 for first year and $100 renewal fee
for
each additional year. The signs will be
along the fence starting at the
scoreboard
and working outward toward both bleachers.
Please see a
member
of the TD Club if you are interested in obtaining a sign for your
business
or you would like to just purchase one for personal use.
There are spots still
available.
Additional signs have been purchased
and regular maintenance is being done
on
the existing ones. Some have not renewed
and will be replaced with
new
ones.
Membership
Report
Membership status: For $10
(husband & wife), you are entitled to membership status
which includes parking in lower parking lot that is reserved
for members.
It was reported that we have 71 members as of today’s date.
Old
Business:
Subway Signs
Jason has not gotten back to anyone on contacting Chip about
their plans for the
signs,
providing a meal, etc… After discussion,
Tim Wood will make the
contact
so we can make plans on their sign.
Fundraising
It was reported that the game with
Coach Gilbert will contact
Jason Wood to see if it can be an option for
next
year.
New
Business
Next meeting to be in February
Due to lack of activity in the December
– February, the group decided that the
next
meeting will be February, 9th, 2010.
Paying JROTC for Parking
It was discussed and agreed to pay JROTC $300 for the parking
service they
provide
to members throughout the season.
Increase Membership Ideas
Increasing membership and participation ideas were discussed.
Team Report
Coach Gilbert reported that the team
made the playoffs for the 6th straight
Season, but was disappointed
in not winning the district. He hoped to
see
all in Christiansburg on Friday.
Requests
Coach Gilbert requested bumper plates for the weightroom. After
discussion
of
the benefits and safety issues, it was agreed to purchase up to $1,200
of
plates, bars, etc… The amount should
include shipping.

The Touchdown Club has obtained its
own Tax I.D. Number for 501 (c)3 tax exempt
status. If you are interested in supporting the TD
