Report
Coach Gilbert thanked all parents that
were in attendance. He also wanted
to thank
the Bassett Kiwanis Club for their contribution toward team
shoes.
Team played well at Graham and they
are starting to come together.
Team pictures are Wed. August 13th,
at
Thurs. August 14th,
practice is at
Fri. August 15th is
Jamboree.
Sat. August 16th is blitz
day for the varsity gold card fundraiser.
Season kicks in gear on 22nd
at
Fri. August 29th, we will
dedicate the game that night against Patrick Henry
to Jerry
Slaughter’s family in memory of Jerry.

The Touchdown Club has obtained its
own Tax I.D. Number for 501 (c)3 tax exempt
status. If you are interested in supporting the TD
Club or need to send
correspondence,
it can be done to the following address:

Advertising
Signs are being sold daily
Advertising signs will be sold at a
cost of $250 for first year and $100 renewal fee
for
each additional year. The signs will be
along the fence starting at the
scoreboard
and working outward toward both bleachers.
Please see a

of the TD Club if you are interested in obtaining a sign for your
business
or you would like to just purchase one for personal use.
There are spots still
available.
Laconya Martin, Angela Mullins, and Kim Craig volunteered
to head this project
up
and we thank you.
Membership
Membership status was described to new attendees. For $10 (husband & wife),
you are entitled to membership status in the TD Club, parking
permit for lower parking lot area where tailgating will be prior to games, various
other benefits that are forthcoming.
